Hello World! I'm Aaron, a Web & Software Developer based in Sunderland, UK. I have always had a passion for understanding how 'things' work; this natural curiosity extended to programming in 2008 after watching some online tutorials. Thereafter I decided to teach myself the fundamentals of Java and PHP before starting at the University of Sunderland in 2009 to study Computer Science.

• Server Side Web: Most of my web work is dynamic, database-driven, using PHP; though I have also used ASP.NET.
• Client Side Web: XHTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery). I'm currently exploring HTML5.
• Databases: I have used SQL in various environments; including MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Software: I have experience of developing applications in both C# and Java.

I have several ambitions that I wish to achieve over the next several years:
• Complete my industrial placement with Nissan NMUK; make some great friends and develop my skills.
• Complete my final year of University with a first-class honours.
• Obtain a position at a Software/Information Systems company and work my way up the ladder.
• Do the best I can and have fun along the way!
